Are you an experienced Warehouse Worker ready for your next challenge? PACE Supply's Distribution Center in Stockton, CA, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Swing Shift team immediately!

Role Overview:
As a Utility Worker, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse. This dynamic position requires flexibility and cross-training to support multiple departments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Order Fulfillment: Picking and putting away orders with precision and efficiency.
• Consolidation: Organizing and preparing materials for shipment to ensure smooth loading and unloading processes.
• General Support: Assisting across departments as needed to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Operations: Operate various forklifts and utilize all Radio Frequency (RF) functions effectively.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, with daily overtime.

Load and Secure Materials: Safely load and secure 20-40ft pipes and mixed bundles onto flatbed trucks, ensuring all materials are properly positioned for transport.

Forklift Operation: Operate equipment such as sit-down, stand-up, reach lift and cherry pickers to efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse and assist with loading tasks.

RF Scanner Usage: Utilize RF scanners to accurately track and manage inventory, ensuring all materials are correctly logged and identified.

Departmental Support: Provide support to other departments as needed, including material handling, inventory management, and general warehouse tasks.

Quality Control: Inspect and verify that all outgoing shipments meet company standards for accuracy, quality, and safety.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of equipment and personal protective gear.

Productivity Standards: Consistently meet or exceed company productivity targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy in all tasks.

Overtime Flexibility: Be available for daily overtime as needed to meet the demands of our fast-paced warehouse environment.

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred.
• Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.

Work Environment

Physical Requirements:

• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck.
• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Environmental Conditions:

• The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
