RESPONSIBILITIES:

Class A Drivers are responsible for safely operating heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations. They must comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies. Their duties may include:

• Planning routes and maintaining accurate records of deliveries
• Loading and unloading cargo
• Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Communicating with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs and other documentation
• Adhering to hours-of-service regulations and taking necessary breaks
• Ensuring the vehicle is properly secured before operating it
• Reporting any vehicle maintenance or repair needs
• Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.

A successful Class A Driver should have a clean driving record, a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and be able to lift heavy objects.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a valid Class A license with a "T" endorsement, doubles, triples, tankers) and a clean driving record, excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous delivery experience (minimum of two years) of wholesale products and warehouse environments prefered.

Education and/or Experience
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. A high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. Warehouse, plumbing, and/or forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.
