PACE Supply is growing, and we are looking for self-starters to join our team in Salinas CA. A Receiving Warehouse Worker plays a critical role in managing incoming stock, ensuring accurate inventory, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. 1. Receiving and Inspection:

   • Verify delivered items against purchase orders or shipping manifests.
   • Unload trucks and containers efficiently.
   • Inspect deliveries with great attention to detail.
   • Ensure items are stored correctly and securely.

2. Inventory Management:

   • Process received products promptly (pick, label, and store).
   • Monitor catch weights, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
   • Adjust product quantities accurately in the inventory system.
   • Maintain quality standards for audits.

3. Communication and Documentation:

   • Schedule and confirm receiving appointments.
   • Perform data entry and paperwork for shipments received.
   • Report any discrepancies promptly.
   • Cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

4. Safety and Equipment Handling:

   • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment (e.g., forklifts).
   • Keep the working environment clean and safe.
   • Optimize space utilization within the warehouse.

Experience:

• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker, specifically in receiving.

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. A high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. Warehouse, plumbing, and/or forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.
